WWE released four Superstars yesterday. Luke Harper, Sin Cara, and The Ascension – Konnor and Viktor, were all released from their WWE contracts.
According to a report from Fightful via their patreon, the overall feeling backstage is that people are relieved for the four who were released.
“In asking around backstage about Luke Harper, Viktor, Konnor and Sin Cara all getting released from the company, the feeling was that of relief for them. One person on the roster said that they believe that all had asked for it, so they were happy for the quartet of wrestlers.”
Both Sin Cara and Luke Harper had made it public that they were unhappy and had requested their release, which does not seem to be the case for members of The Ascension, despite them not being used since WrestleMania week.
