WWE released Luke Harper, Sin Cara, and The Ascension – Konnor and Viktor yesterday from their contracts.
According to a report from Fightful via their patreon, there is currently a feeling going around internally within the WWE Performance Center that there might be some more releases coming soon to the NXT roster. However, it’s expected that those releases may not come until sometime during the first quarter of 2020.
“A couple of members of the NXT roster have also told us that word is going around that if NXT cuts are coming, it could be in January or early February.”
WWE just recently announced the latest names to participate in the most recent WWE tryouts, so there could always be some cuts made to make room for new signees. We will keep you updated if we hear anything else about potential roster cuts, or signings.
