EXCLUSIVE: Huge Update On WWE Employees Held Against Their Will In Saudi Arabia

A huge potential International Incident has been unfolding over the last few days following the detaining of WWE Superstars and Employees against their will in Saudi Arabia following WWE’s Crown Jewel Pay-Per-View in Riyadh last week.

It was previously reported that WWE Superstars and Employees were held in Saudi Arabia against their will after their plane was detained in what many felt was a “power play”. This resulted in the majority of the people on the trip being held in the country and extra day causing many Superstars to miss SmackDown the following day.

It was also reported that a small number of WWE Employees were able to get out of Saudi Arabia prior to the Prince ordering the grounding of the rest of the staffs flight, which stranded nearly 200 others in Saudi Arabia and completely in the dark as to what was going on. I can now confirm that 22 WWE Employees, including Vince McMahon were able to get out of the country on charter flights before the lock down of the other flights.

A source with inside information on the situation also told me that everyone was ordered off of the plane and sent back to the hotel “until The Prince figured out what to do with them.”

We will keep you updated as more information on this huge story continues to come out.
