Beyond Wrestling Moves Uncharted Territory To Thursdays

We have almost reached the point where a new weekly wrestling show airs every day of the week. Mondays will forever be WWE’s Raw show, Tuesdays are looking to be open, Wednesdays are now the busiest night in big league wrestling and that leaves the rest of the week for other companies.

Last year Beyond Wrestling took a giant risk and began running weekly live shows on Wednesday nights entitled Uncharted Territory. Never before has an independent promotion ran weekly live shows that were available to watch on multiple platforms. Thanks in part to Independent Wrestling TV, that became a reality. It’s widely known that Beyond has been losing money on this venture, but the company believes in their product enough to do a second season. This is a company who started out with zero fans. The first shows on YouTube were wrestlers wrestling in the ring, while the other wrestlers watched outside of the ring, legitimately no fans. That grew into a YouTube channel that has over 1 million subscribers, which spun off into the Uncharted Territory shows.

Knowing the competition Wednesday nights will bring, Beyond Wrestling has announced that they are moving to Thursday nights when season two starts.

Absent from this graphic are NJPW which runs Saturday mornings, MLW which runs on Saturday nights, WOW which runs Saturday nights and NWA which hasn’t announced their show days yet. It would seem NWA would be best to run on Tuesdays, but it looks like 6:05 on Saturday nights is where they are headed. If you include the pay per views of WWE on Sundays and AEW Saturdays, there is more weekly wrestling than days of the week.

Best of luck to all companies.
