Update On The Street Profits Main Roster Status

On Monday night’s episode of WWE RAW, we saw the NXT Tag Team Champions The Street Profits make an appearance on the broadcast. This left many wondering what this means for The Street Profits, and their NXT status.

While The Street Profits made a nice impression on RAW this week’s appearance apparently was not their actually call-up to the main roster.

On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed The Street Profits appearance on this past Monday’s episode of RAW. He notes that the reason The Street Profits were featured on RAW is also the same reason that Corey Graves said “holy sh*t”, and why Kofi Kingston gave Samoa Joe the middle finger last night on SmackDown. It was said that WWE needs younger fans to begin tuning into WWE programming once again, and the feeling was that The Street Profits as well as the edgier stuff from Graves and Kofi would help with that.

However, The Street Profits are said to not be leaving NXT just yet, and that this week’s appearance on RAW does not count as their “big main roster debut”.

We will keep you updated if we hear anything more about The Street Profits status, or WWE’s plans on how to gain more younger viewers.
