Moments after Brian Cage defeated Johnny Impact for the IMPACT Wrestling World Championship at Rebellion, Michael Elgin confronted Cage and proceeded to lay him out in the middle of the ring.
The Rebel Entertainment Complex was at a fever pitch during the staredown, as it seems like Michael Elgin and brand new IMPACT Wrestling World Champion Brian Cage are on a collision course with one another sooner than later.
Michael Elgin, is a former IWGP Intercontinental Champion and NEVER Openweight Champion, NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champion, and 2017 New Japan Rumble winner for NJPW. Elgin left the company earlier this month and was rumored to be signing with a promotion closer to the states. The Oshawa Kid is also a former ROH World Champion, having won the title back in 2014.
