Impact Rebellion Results

Another great night in professional wrestling has come to its conclusion as Impact Wrestling’s Rebellion live from The Rebel Complex in Toronto, Canada did not disappoint. The world tuned in as the very best Impact has to offer put on a great show headlined by a double main event with Impact gold on the line. It was a night of championships, torches being passed, and violence live on pay-per-view/Fite TV.

  • Six Way Match

Ace Austin was victorious over Aiden Prince, Jake Deaner, Eddie Edwards, Jake Crist and Canadian fan favorite Petey Williams taking advantage of Williams with roll-up for the victory after Petey delivered the Canadian Destroyer just moments earlier.

  • Intergender Match

In a match announced on Impact’s social media earlier in the day, Scarlett Bordeaux defeated Rohit Raju.

  • Six Man Tag

Former Impact Grand Champion Moose, Ethan Page and Josh Alexander scored a pinfall victory over Rascalz.

  • Impact Knockouts Championship

In a tremendous effort by both competitors, Taya Valkyrie gave Jordynne Grace her first loss in Impact wrestling, retaining her Knockouts Championship.

  • Impact X-Division Championship

Rich Swann retains his title vs. Sami Callihan in a personal contest between former best friends.

  • Singles Match

In a match that this writer feels stole the show, young former champion superstar Tessa Blanchard (with her father, the legendary Tully Blanchard at ringside), used press slams off the top rope and multiple code breakers in order to defeat Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame inductee Gail Kim. After the match, Tessa and Gail would hug each other, putting aside their previous issues in a show of respect that looked like a true passing of the torch from one generation of Women’s wrestling to the next.

  • Impact World Heavyweight Championship (Lance Storm – Special Referee)

In a match filled with outside interference, hurt referees, and bloodied faces, Brian Cage became the new Impact World Champion defeating Johnny Impact. It seemed to this writer, the announcers and those in the arena that this may not happen as Cage was visibly hurt after an amazing Spanish Fly from the stage to the floor. Cage was able to recover however and win the title against all odds.

After the match was over, Brian was confronted and attacked by former IWGP Intercontinental and Never Openweight Champion in New Japan Pro Wrestling, Michael Elgin. Before his exit, he would make it clear that the new champion should be on notice that he would be coming after the gold in the very near future.

  • Impact World Tag Team Championship (Full Metal Mayhem)

LAX members Santana and Ortiz defeated the Lucha Bros to once again become the Impact Wrestling World Tag Team Champions
