The 2019 edition of the WWE Superstar Shake-Up kicked off last night on RAW and carries over tonight to SmackDown Live as the company finishes their two night run in Montreal.
Vince McMahon will be appearing on tonight’s episode of SDLive and has promised to reveal “the biggest acquisition in SmackDown Live history.” This of course has lead to a lot of speculation as to who Vince will announce tonight, and it was also discussed on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio where Dave Meltzer noted that many are expecting Roman Reigns to make the jump to SmackDown tonight.
This could be a possibility after how heavily the announce team was hinting that last night could have been Reigns last night with the company during commentary.
Regarding a potential Roman Reigns move to SDLive, Meltzer said:
“I think everyone is expecting Roman Reigns for tomorrow. I think they’re really pushing the idea that The Shield might break up.”
Other names were also noted as potential candidates for being drafted to SmackDown Live, such as Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman. With SDLive losing two of their top babyfaces to RAW last night during the Superstar Shake-Up, SmackDown is in dire need of a big babyface of their own to fill the void.
We will keep you updated if we hear anything more about potential spoilers for tonight’s Superstar Shake-Up edition of SmackDown Live.
