Hiromu Takahashi Provides Health Update

Former IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi has been out of action for most of last year. He suffered a horrendous neck injury in a match against arch-rival Dragon Lee at G1 Special.

Takahashi landed badly on his neck after Lee gave him a Phoenix Plex, thus suffering a broken neck.

However, it looks like he’s nearing an in-ring return. He had previously said that he’ll return to action once he’s at “1000 percent recovery,” and says that he current sits at 943 percent.

Of course this is huge news. We hope he makes his comeback soon enough, as NJPW definitely needs him.
