Will We See Dean Ambrose On WWE Television Again?

Dean Ambrose made headlines yesterday when news broke of his intentions to leave WWE once his current contract expires in April. It was also reported that Ambrose turned down a multi-year deal worth seven figures per year.

Ambrose’s decision to leave WWE came as a surprise to a lot of people within the company. Speculation as to the legitimacy of the reports began, even after WWE issued a statement and acknowledged Dean’s intent to leave as well. However, it appears that this is not a work and that Dean is in fact leaving WWE when his current contract expires.

With Ambrose now seemingly out the door in April, how he will be used, if at all, from here out has been another heavily speculated topic. On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez commented on how Ambrose might possibly be used or if WWE uses him at all going forward. He mentions that WWE may choose to just ice him out until his contract is up in a couple months.

Regarding Dean Ambrose’s future booking in WWE, Alvarez said:

“Maybe he’ll do a couple of extra shows. I mean maybe they’ll use him until the end of his contract. I mean it’s possible. But I have this feeling that he’s just going to be iced. We’ll find out soon enough.”

“He’ll probably have to do some more jobs first. Maybe not, maybe they’ll ice him and that was his swan song on Monday. We’ll find out, but I would not be surprised if we don’t see a lot more of Dean Ambrose.”
