Kenny Omega Signs On With Agent Known For Representing Wrestlers

With Kenny Omega’s contract with New Japan Wrestling said to expire at the end of the month, it looks like the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion is making moves in preparation for when he officially hits the free agent market.

According to a report via a recent audio update on PWInsider Elite Omega has hired well known agent Barry Bloom to be his agent.

It had previously been reported that Bloom would also be involved with AEW behind the scenes. Bloom is also the agent for WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg, and previously represented Kevin Nash, Jesse Ventura and others.

Regarding Kenny Omega signing on with well known agent Barry Bloom, Johnson said:

“My feeling is that Kenny Omega is in the best position that he’s ever been in his life to cash in and make the most money. I also know that Kenny Omega is now represented by Barry Bloom who has been amazing with getting wrestlers big money deals in the past with WWE and WCW. He represented Kevin Nash and Jesse Ventura and lots of other people.”

This isn’t the first time that Barry Bloom’s name has been brought up. It had previously been reported that Bloom was said to be involved with AEW’s efforts to bring Goldberg onboard with the company.

All Elite Wrestling is holding their Double Or Nothing Ticket Release Party on February 7th from the Vegas, and it’s rumored that the company is planning to have some big names in attendance, and some major announcements planned.
