Ever since Finn Balor won a Universal title opportunity on last week’s RAW, allowing him to face Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble, the WWE universe has been wondering if the Demon will make an appearance.
In an interview with ESPN, however, the former champion revealed that wasn’t the case. Here is what he said:
”I feel like maybe I leaned on the demon too much there in the past as a crutch, and I can assure you that the man who faces Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble will be Finn Balor, the man.”
This may come as a disappointment to fans, as people relate The Demon coming to Fin actually winning matches. So we will have to wait and see what happens at the Royal Rumble.
