The wrestling world is buzzing with the news surrounding the launch of All Elite Wrestling. The company will be holding a huge rally today at 5:00 PM in Jacksonville, Florida.
There are expected to be some big announcements coming out of today’s event, one of those is said to more information about the company’s planned Women’s Division. What we apparently won’t get today is an official word on Kenny Omega’s future with the company, as it has been reported that he is not able to announce his intentions until February 1st when his current deal is up.
In a recent report from Dave Meltzer on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, he stated that one of the announcements that will be made today will for ALL IN 2: Double or Nothing. The event has been rumored to be taking place in Las Vegas, with more info expected today.
Regarding potential announcements later today at AEW’s Rally in Jacksonville, Meltzer said:
“ALL IN 2: Double Or Nothing, they will make that announcement, I’m almost certain. As it’s been talked about it’s likely Las Vegas. Date and all that will likely be announced.”
It was also stated that there are plans for another Starrcast event to be held and ran by Conrad Thompson. But this isn’t really surprising considering that the Starrcast logo has been appearing at the bottom of the graphic for today’s AEW Rally in Jacksonville.
