When one door closes, another one opens.
Last month, Sami Callihan was part of the numerous TNA releases. At the time he was working multiple roles backstage with the company, not only as a producer, but agenting matches, working and designing with the merch department, marketing department, pre-tape producer, and more.
It appears as though Sami Callihan might have found a new home.
Sources have confirmed to me that Sami Callihan has been working backstage the last three weeks for AEW’s Dynamite Tapings in Clearwater, Florida, Roanoke, Virginia and last night in Boston, Massachusetts. Sources also confirmed that Callihan will be at tonight’s AEW Collision tapings in Boston. Additionally, it was noted that Callihan has seemingly been working as a backstage producer.
When I asked if Callihan had officially signed a contract with All Elite Wrestling, sources related that “it doesn’t seem like he has a contract yet.”
