Earlier this week, a report revealed that Christian had locked down a WWE deal, signaling that he was not only ready to return to in ring action with them, but that he was not going to be one of the two debuting performers at AEW Revolution.
However, a new report has revealed this was an error. Raj Giri from Wrestling Inc., the man who reported Christian had signed with the company, apologizing as it was revealed Christian was under contract with FOX Sports and not WWE itself. He also reported that deal may have come to an end as well. It was then reported that talks between Christian and the WWE fell through.
Giri ended his new report by saying that Christian signing with AEW is definitely a possibility.
This puts Christian back in play as someone potentially debuting tomorrow night at AEW Revolution.
