Rev Pro Wrestling: Epic Encounters 4 – Full Card and Preview

This Sunday 25th of November at 8pm (GMT) Rev Pro Wrestling’s Epic Encounters 4 will stream live exclusively on their brand new Twitch.Tv channel.

This is the 4th instalment of their Epic Encounters series that started back on 28th of August when Rev Pro made their return following the Covid lock down period. In total there are 6 matches on card for this Sunday, including a title match for the British Women’s Championship as the main event of the evening.

Will Ospreay Vs JJ Gale

The opening match of the show will see the current Rev Pro British Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay in action, Ospreay comes into the match fresh off his successful title defence against Kyle Fletcher at Epic Encounters 3.

JJ Gale is part of Rev Pro’s up and coming contenders division, similar to the NJPW young lions division, he makes his way in to this match following a defeat by the Mad Kurt at Epic Encounters 3 as well as a loss to Mark Haskins at Epic Encounters 2.

Mark Haskins Vs Joel Redman

Mark Haskins now a full time member of the ROH roster but he has been not been able to be part of the ROH return due to strict travel restrictions.

Joel Redman is a 15 year pro from the UK independent scene, despite being relatively young.

Both men competed on the Epic Encounters 2 card with differing results, Haskins picked up a win defeating JJ Gale whilst Joel Redman faced off with Dan Moloney in a losing effort.

Brendan White Vs Kenneth Halfpenny

This will be the 4th match in this rivalry that started back at Epic Encounters 1, when Brendan White defeated Halfpenny, Halfpenny demanded a rematch at Epic Encounters 2 where Brendan White would once again come out the Victor.

Still unhappy Halfpenny would then demand a best of 5 series against his rival and Brendan would accept the challenge, in their 3rd encounter Halfpenny would finally get his first win in the series.

The scores are now currently White 2 – Halfpenny 1 heading into this match up.

Dan Moloney Vs Mad Kurt

Dan Moloney is quickly becoming the franchise player of Rev Pro Wrestling picking up big wins over the likes of Rhyno, Hikuelo, Jeff Cobb and Clark Connors. Most recently Moloney picked up wins at Epic Enounters 1 and 2 over Callum Newman and Joel Redman respectively, as he looks to earn a Heavyweight title shot.

Mad Kurt last competed at Epic Encounters 3 with a win over JJ Gale and will be looking to keep his momentum going, possibly thinking if he can get win over Moloney he can get himself in the title picture.

Kyle Fletcher Vs Ricky Knight Jr

Kyle Fletcher and Ricky Knight Jr actually teamed together for Epic Encounters 4 against Will Ospreay and Michael Oku ahead of their respective title matches, although they would win the match the tension between the two was clear to see.

RKJ had his title match against Micheal Oku back on Epic Encounters 2 but would not come out the victor on that night thanks to Connor Mills’s interference, however he would get his revenge when he claimed a victory over Connor Mills at Epic Encounters 3.

Kyle Fletcher unsuccessfully challenged Will Ospreay for the British Heavyweight Champion at Epic Encounters 3 so will be looking to bounce back as quickly as possible.

(Challenger) Bea Priestley Vs (Champion) Gisele Shaw

Bea Priestley has been a top competitor in UK and Japanese women’s wrestling, having won championships in both the UK and Japan.

Gisele Shaw became the Rev Pro British Women’s championship when she defeated Zoe Lucas back in February of this year.

At Epic Encounters 1 Bea Priestley’s Odeo Tai tag team partner Jamie Hayter faced off with British Women’s Champion Gisele Shaw. Hayter was defeated by Shaw and Bea Priestly would then Challenge Shaw, who accepted the match.

At Epic Encounters 2 Bea Priestly would team with her tag team partner Jamie Hayter as they took on the team of Gisele Shaw and Aleah James and thanks to interference from Bobbi Tyler and Zoe Lucas, Priestley and Hayter managed to pick up the win.

Now finally Gisele Shaw has chance take on Bea Priestly in a one on one battle.

When I made the first announcement of the Event I wrongly stated that RKJ and Kyle Fletcher were teaming together to face Mad Kurt and Dan Moloney, I obviously got this wrong and would like to apologise for my mistake.

Will you be tuning into the Rev Pro Twitch channel to watch the event? Which match up are you most looking forward to catching? Which match do you think steal the show?
