Jim Cornette Says WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump Embarrassed “All of America in Front of the World…Again” During SOTU Address

There is no love lost between pro wrestling legend Jim Cornette and WWE Hall of Famer (and, ya know, President of the United States) Donald Trump, and there hasn’t been for a very, very long time.
In fact, it’s safe to assume, based on his tweeting history, that Cornette hates Donald Trump. Take, for example, a recent tweet that reviewed Trump’s State of the Union address that took place on Tuesday, Feb. 24.
Reactions to the address were mixed, with some calling it “the longest ever State of the Union address” and others saying it was full of “lies and xenophobic rants.” Still, it was definitely a State of the Union address, even if there were more lies than truths in the speech.
Jim Cornette, however, felt like it was less of a speech, more of another chance for a narcissistic blowhard to get figuratively blown by a cabinet that doesn’t care that he allegedly raped children.
At least, that’s what his tweet makes it sound like.
You can disagree with a lot of what Jim Cornette says. But it’s hard to disagree with his opinions on the WWE Hall of Famer.
Still, people tried. Commenters on his twitter page attempted to argue with one person saying “the speech was excellent.”
Another commenter brought it back to wrestling and, unfortunately, Roman Reigns took some strays.
Jim Cornette is known for his opinions. Some of them are good opinions, some of them are bad. But Jim Cornette sees the WWE Hall of Famer (and President of the United States) for exactly who and what he is. As long as Cornette breathes, he (and his wife, for that matter) will not remove their feet from Trump’s neck. They will figuratively step on him any chance that they get. Who knows? Maybe Trump actually likes it. But as long as Cornette has a Twitter page, he will not step off. And who are we to argue with a wrestling legend?
