Kingsley Ibeh Uppercuts Jarrell Miller’s Hair Off During Heavyweight Fight
Yes, you read the headline correctly. Kingsley Ibeh actually uppercutted the hair off Jarrell Miller’s head during their Heavyweight Boxing match on Saturday night.
During the second round of the Ibeh vs. Miller fight from Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday Night January 31st, 2026, Kingsley Ibeh struck Jarrell Miller with an uppercut that knocked Miller’s toupee off his head.
Miller didn’t miss a beat however, as he ripped his hairpiece that was hanging off his head and threw it into the crowd.
Despite everything, Miller eventually won the fight via split decision, judges scored the contest (94-96, 97-93, 97-93).
After the fight, Jarrell Miller commented on the incident, stating:
“So, it’s kinda funny, right. I get to my mama’s house, and she had some shampoo bottles under her table, and I shampooed it. That shit was like ammonia and bleach. I nearly lost my hair like two days ago, so I called my manager: ‘Let me slap that shit on my on head real quick,’ and [Ibeh] slapped that shit off!”
Miller went on to say that you have to be able to make fun of yourself and roll with the punches.
