CJ Perry Recalls Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis Showing Her How To Kiss Dolph Ziggler
Do you remember that time on WWE Monday Night Raw when Dolph Ziggler finally kissed Lana for the first time? Well you can thank Vince and Johnny Ace for showing her how to do it.. apparently.
Former WWE Superstar CJ Perry, who was known as Lana during her time with the company, was recently a guest on the “Ring the Belle” podcast, during the interview she recalled a funny moment when Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis pulled her into a room backstage to practice kissing Dolph Ziggler for their big “first kiss” on Monday Night Raw.
“Vince brought us into the room and we had to practice in front of him, Johnny Ace, and Rusev. We had to practice kissing…”
“Johnny Ace and Vince are showing us how to do it. They don’t go all the way to kissing, but they go really close.”
“… and we are giggling, and I’m giggling so hard at Vince and Johnny Ace doing this, like so close.. I thought it was hysterical. And Vince is like, CJ.. we are all professionals here. And so like, that’s when I knew that right then and there, like grow up CJ. Like don’t sell, even if you’re having a hard time with Rusev in the corner. Also, I’m a professional, ya know? This is what I do for a living, I’m a professional dancer, actress.. Rusev is a professional, he takes acting classes, been in movies.. so, we knew that was the job.”
Lana would go on to say that they were wanting her to go for a “touched like a virgin” vibe, as if this was her first kiss ever. She added that Vince had also anticipated their second kiss would follow, as the crowd would begin to chant “one more time.”
