Today, Ricky Morton chose violence… against poor hygiene.
“Hygiene in pro wrestling is NOT optional. If you’re stepping in a ring, wash your gear, wash yourself, and have some respect for the people you’re working with. Nothing ruins a weekend faster than someone whose stuff stinks. Big pet peeve from this past weekend.

Let’s be clear: this isn’t some soft suggestion from Ricky Morton. This isn’t “hey brother, maybe consider a little extra deodorant next time.” This is a man who has survived the territories, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express road life & schedule, and more locker rooms than most of us have survived group chats, saying: wash your damn self.
And honestly? He’s right.
Pro wrestling is many things. Art. Athleticism. Chaos. A traveling road show powered by caffeine, gas station food, and questionable life decisions. What it is not supposed to be is a mobile biohazard situation where one unwashed pair of kick pads can clear out half the locker room faster than a fire alarm.
