Pat McAfee took a hiatus from his WWE commentary position back in June of 2025, which coincided with the start of the NCAA College Football season and his job as a host on ESPN’s College Game Day. WWE President and TKO Board Member Nick Khan had stated that he had hoped to be able to bring Pat McAfee back to the company once the college football season was over in January.
It now looks like a WWE return for the former NFL All-Pro Punter could be soon, according to a new report via WrestleVotes and Fightful Select.
“WWE sources believe that they expect Pat McAfee to be back in the company soon.”
