Jim Cornette Donates $5K to Ford Worker Who Called Trump a “Pedophile Protector” To His Face

More than $700,000 has been raised for the Ford plant worker who said what the world was thinking when he called President Trump a “pedophile protector” to his face, as the president was touring the Ford plant in Michigan.
TJ Sabula, a 40-year-old United Auto Workers Local 600 line worker at the factory claims he was the one who yelled at Trump, which caused the president to mouth the words “fuck you” and flip him off.
Sabula spoke with the Washington Post and said that he has “definitely no regrets whatsoever,” but he did state that he was concerned with the future of his job.
Evidently, those concerns were not unfounded, as it was reported that he was suspended from work, “pending an investigation.”
When that news came out, two different GoFundMe pages were set up for Sabula and the results? Well, the results speak for themselves.
The first GoFundMe, entitled ‘Support Ford Worker During Suspension’ was created with the goal of $10,000. At press time, it has raised more than $287,000.
The second GoFundMe, entitled ‘TJ Sabula is a Patriot,’ was created with the goal of $250,000. It has since raised more than $433,900.
Altogether, one simple phrase to the president has made Sabula more than $700,000 in less than 24 hours.
“I don’t feel as though fate looks upon you often, and when it does, you better be ready to seize the opportunity,” Sabula said. “And today I think I did that.”
Indeed, he did. And in doing so, he gained the respect of an entire country. A country that includes one Mr. James E. Cornette, and his wife, Mrs. Corny.
Upon hearing the story of Mr. Sabula, Cornette immediately said that he wanted to shake the man’s hand. He also said that he wanted to give him a check for $5,000.
Normally, especially coming from a legendary loud mouth like Jim Cornette, the statement would be taken with a grain of salt and it would be attributed to the waxing poetic of a political pirate. However, Cornette quite literally put his money where his mouth (or, at least, his tweet) was.
He and his wife donated $5,000 to Sabula’s GoFundMe.
It’s not often that people can be taken at their word, especially when it comes to money. But Mr. and Mrs. Cornette were a man and a woman of their word, and that deserves all the respect in the world.
Cornette has been quite outspoken about his disdain for the current U.S. President.
Of course, Cornette’s opinions are bound to have their enthusiasts and their opponents, but at least the man can be taken at his word when it comes to his hatred for Trump.
