Alexa Bliss Reflects on Previous Versions of Her WWE Personas and Reveals Which Are Her Favorites
From supernatural darkness to golden arrogance, Alexa Bliss has worn many faces in WWE, but two personas stand above the rest in her eyes.
In a recent appearance on The Angle Podcast with Joey Karni, former Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss opened up about her career in WWE, specifically reflecting on the evolution of her character work throughout the years. Known for her versatility and ability to adapt to various roles, Bliss has brought to life a number of memorable personas that fans still talk about today.
When asked about which versions of the “Alexa Bliss” character stood out to her the most, Bliss didn’t hesitate to name her favorites.
“I loved the goddess and dark Alexa. Those were my two favorite,” Bliss said during the interview. “I’m having fun with what I’m doing right now, but those two are always going to stay because the goddess is what I started out as and dark Alexa was with Bray, and that was such a creative and freeing and fun moment in my career.”
The “Goddess” character, which propelled Bliss to the top of the women’s division shortly after her main roster debut, was a confident, arrogant heel who carried herself like royalty. It was during this run that Bliss became a fixture in championship scenes and established herself as a top-tier competitor in WWE.
Meanwhile, her “Dark Alexa” persona, born from her alliance with “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt, took a sharp turn into supernatural territory. This version saw Bliss deliver haunting promos, unpredictable in-ring behavior, and compelling cinematic storytelling—a departure that showcased her range as a performer.
While Bliss noted she enjoys her current run as a tag team with Charlotte Flair, she made it clear that the Goddess and Dark Alexa chapters remain closest to her heart, both creatively and personally. Fans have long speculated about a possible return to the Dark Alexa persona, and with Bliss back on WWE television following maternity leave, the possibilities are once again wide open.
For now, it’s clear that Alexa Bliss continues to embrace the evolution of her character, but she hasn’t forgotten the personas that helped define her career.
