Bea Priestley Set to Compete in STARDOM 5 STAR GP 2025, Sends Bold Message to Joshi Roster
Former WWE Superstar and current AEW talent Bea Priestley, formerly known as Blair Davenport in WWE, is returning to her roots in Japan this summer, officially announcing her entry into the highly prestigious STARDOM 5STAR Grand Prix 2025.
The announcement came via video message shared during a press conference held by STARDOM to announce the participants in this years Grand Prix, in which Priestley didn’t hold back when addressing the competition.
“Hello, this is the top gaijin, Bea Priestley, and I’m entering myself into this year’s Stardom 5STAR Grand Prix. Now, win or lose, I’m very aware of how tough these tournaments can be, but I’m going to show how every one of those joshi girls is shopai, shopai, shopai, shopai, shopai. And that Bea will forever be ichiban. See you soon, Japan.”
Priestley’s return to STARDOM marks a significant moment for fans familiar with her history in the promotion. As a former World of Stardom Champion and member of Oedo Tai, Priestley carved out a legacy during her initial run in Japan, known for her brash attitude, technical prowess, and a flair for the dramatic.
The STARDOM 5 STAR GP, one of the most competitive round-robin tournaments in women’s wrestling, has long been a proving ground for both rising stars and established veterans. Priestley’s involvement raises the stakes and adds another layer of intrigue to an already stacked lineup.
The 2025 Stardom 5STAR Grand Prix kicks off on July 23rd and will conclude on August 23rd.
