CM Punk is no stranger to controversy, but his latest move has caught the attention of wrestling fans and critics alike for a very different reason: an apology.
In a surprising moment of contrition, former WWE Champion CM Punk has issued a public apology regarding a 2020 tweet in which he directed sharp criticism toward The Miz and WWE’s relationship with Saudi Arabia. The tweet, which read, “Go suck a blood money covered dick in Saudi Arabia, you f*cking dork,” resurfaced recently, sparking renewed conversation around Punk’s past remarks and WWE’s international business dealings.
