Vickie Guerrero Potentially Returning To WWE Programming Soon
Excuse us—because it could be getting really loud on WWE television again soon.
According to a new report from Fightful Select, former WWE General Manager and longtime on-screen personality Vickie Guerrero has told numerous people recently that she would be back with WWE for some things “in a few weeks.”
While exact details surrounding her upcoming WWE involvement weren’t made clear, the timing of the news is certainly interesting. WWE’s all-women’s event, Evolution, is reportedly set to return soon—and Guerrero’s return may very well be linked to that.
Vickie was a staple of WWE programming from 2005 through 2014, first appearing as part of real-life husband Eddie Guerrero’s storylines before becoming one of the most recognizable authority figures in the company’s modern era. Her signature “Excuse me!” catchphrase and villainous charisma helped her become a fixture of WWE TV, appearing across both Raw and SmackDown until her departure in 2014. She would later make sporadic appearances, including her final one in 2018—at least, until now.
After stepping away from WWE, Guerrero joined AEW in 2019, eventually managing Nyla Rose and briefly serving as a manager and mouthpiece for other stars as well. However, in a candid revelation, Vickie previously shared that WWE had “cut her off” due to her involvement with AEW. Her stint with AEW was pretty uneventful, and she was quietly let go from the company in 2023
Despite that rocky patch, it appears the relationship between the two sides has since warmed back up. Guerrero was reportedly backstage at a WWE SmackDown taping in September 2025, further fueling speculation that something was already in motion.
While there’s no confirmation yet on what her role will be—whether it’s a one-off appearance, a short arc, or something more permanent—Vickie Guerrero’s presence is always one that sparks fan reactions, good and bad (mostly boos, let’s be real), and her return could inject some instant nostalgia and heat into WWE programming.
