WWE NXT Preview (6/24/25): Two Championship Matches and a Women’s Fatal Four Way to Determine a Challenger for the NXT Women’s Championship at Evolution
This week’s episode of WWE NXT on The CW Network will take place on Tuesday night June 24th, 2025 from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
We have TWO Championship matches on the card, plus a Women’s Fatal Four-Way match that will determine who will go on to challenge Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship at WWE’s Evolution PLE on July 13th.
The following matches have been announced for tonight’s episode of WWE NXT on The CW Network:
- WWE NXT Heritage Cup Championship Match: Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo vs Tony D’Angelo
- TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match: Trick Williams vs Josh Briggs
- WWE NXT Women’s Championship #1 Contender Fatal Four-Way Match: Lash Legend vs Jordynne Grace vs Jaida Parker vs Izzi Dame
Originally Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo was scheduled to face Noam Dar for the WWE NXT Heritage Cup Championship, but Dar was forced to relinquish the title due to injury. It was then announced that Stacks would instead be facing off against his former friend and stablemate Tony D’Angelo, and the winner will be crowned the new WWE NXT Heritage Cup Champion.
On last week’s episode of WWE NXT on The CW Network, Yoshiki Inamura pinned TNA World Heavyweight Champion Trick Williams in the six-man tag team Main Event, earning a future TNA World Title match. Inamura would then give his World Championship opportunity to his friend and tag partner Josh Briggs, setting up this week’s Title match.
The participants on tonight’s Fatal Four-Way match to determine the #1 Contender that will face NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne for the title at WWE Evolution in Atlanta earned their shot by winning their qualifying matches on last week’s episode. Lash Legend defeated Kelani Jordan, Jordynne Grace defeated Lola Vice, Jaida Parker defeated Thea Hail, and Izzi Dame defeated Zaria.
