AKIRA signed with MLW in January 2023 and quickly made an impact as part of The Calling, the sinister faction led by Raven. His unique blend of ultraviolence, technical grappling, and punk rock attitude helped him stand out in the promotion’s diverse roster. During his MLW run, AKIRA captured the MLW World Middleweight Championship, cementing his place as one of the most dangerous and unconventional forces in the company.

Known for his work in both deathmatch and strong-style wrestling, AKIRA’s resume extends well beyond MLW, with appearances in GCW, Big Japan Pro Wrestling – where he is the current BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Champion, and other independent promotions. With his free agent status now confirmed, speculation will undoubtedly begin about his next move.

Whether AKIRA continues to carve his path through the independents or signs with another major promotion, his next chapter is sure to be unpredictable—and violent.
