Hikuleo Reportedly Set for WWE Debut This Friday On SmackDown

WWE is set to welcome a towering new presence to Friday Night SmackDown, as former New Japan Pro Wrestling standout Hikuleo is expected to make his official debut for the blue brand this week.

According to a report from PWInsider, the 34-year-old powerhouse will be present at this Friday’s SmackDown taping in Lexington, Kentucky.

Hikuleo signed with WWE approximately one year ago as was originally reported by Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net. However, he has yet to make an official appearance on WWE programming.

The son of wrestling legend Haku, Hikuleo began his professional career in 2016 after being trained by The Dudley Boyz. He quickly gained attention with his imposing 6’8″ frame and athletic ability. His tenure in New Japan Pro Wrestling spanned nearly a decade, where he achieved notable success, including a reign as IWGP Tag Team Champion alongside El Phantasmo and a run with the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship.

Hikuleo has also made appearances in AEW and TNA, further building his resume across the global wrestling landscape. His in-ring style blends power, agility, and an evolving technical foundation, making him a potential breakout star for WWE.

As anticipation builds, Friday’s SmackDown could mark the beginning of a new chapter for the rising Samoan star and The Bloodline.
