On Wednesday night following her match against Julia Hart on AEW Dynamite, AEW President Tony Khan officially announced that Mina Shirakawa is now part of the AEW roster.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Khan shared the news with fans around the world, posting the signature “All Elite” graphic that has become synonymous with new talent signings. The tweet simply read:
“She’s All Elite!@MinaShirakawa is now All Elite, and it’s official! Congratulations + welcome to @AEW, Mina!”
Mina Shirakawa, a standout performer in the Japanese wrestling scene, has gained significant recognition through her work in World Wonder Ring Stardom, where she showcased her charisma, in-ring ability, and magnetic presence. A founding member of the Cosmic Angels faction, Shirakawa has continually elevated her game, becoming a fan favorite both in Japan and abroad.
Her AEW appearances in recent months and reports that she had signed with the company full-time, hinted at a deeper involvement with All Elite Wrestling, and today’s confirmation solidifies that. With AEW expanding its women’s division and frequently highlighting international stars, Shirakawa’s addition is both timely and strategic.
