Killer Kross Opens Up About Return to WWE and Triple H’s Pivotal Role
WWE Superstar Karrion Kross recently shed light on the circumstances surrounding his return to WWE during an appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, revealing a conversation with WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H that played a pivotal role in his decision.
Kross, known for his intense presence and cerebral in-ring style, opened up about how a simple birthday phone call from Triple H hinted at much more. In the interview, he stated:
“I think he called me just to say happy birthday and he said we should talk soon.
I knew exactly what it meant and I was scared out of my mind… I knew I could trust him. I felt like he knew he could trust me. That’s not something that I ever want to mess with. That’s really imperative.
Just based on him having the sails of the ship, I was like, we’re going back.”
The quote paints a vivid picture of the trust and professional bond between Kross and Triple H, a relationship that dates back to Kross’ initial run in NXT. Under Triple H’s leadership, Kross flourished as a dominant force, capturing the NXT Championship and building a loyal fanbase.
