Kane Challenges Gov. Tim Walz to a Charity Wrestling Match, Luckily Not an Inferno Match
Former WWE Champion, and fake half-brother of The Undertaker, Kane, has challenged current Governor of Minnesota and former Democratic Vice Presidential nominee, Tim Walz to a charity wrestling match.
And the outcome doesn’t look great for Gov. Walz. Kane is a multi-time WWE Champion and has competed in Buried Alive matches, Hell in a Cell matches, and more.
Kane has also competed in Inferno Matches, in which the object of the match is to — literally — set your opponent on fire. Kane has competed in four of them. And while it’s been a while since Kane has been seen in a wrestling ring, at one point Kane was one of the most intimidating wrestlers on the WWE roster.
That being said, Tim Walz may want to walk back comments he recently made on Gov. Gavin Newsom’s podcast, in which, talking about Trump supporters and their ideas of “masculinity,” he stated:
I think I could kick most of their ass. I do think that. I know I can outrun the. But I don’t know if we’re going to fall into that place where we want to, okay, we challenge you to a, you know, a WWE fight here type of thing.
And while Walz may believe he can “kick most of their ass,” there’s one Trump supporter who he’d definitely struggle against. And that’s The Big Red Machine, Kane.
Kane, whose real name is Glenn Jacobs, is the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. And he did not take kindly to Uncle Tim bringing up WWE matches.
After sharing and re-sharing a number of tweets with fake, AI art depicting Walz as a rainbow-clad wrestler, Kane made the ultimate challenge to a man who, politically, is in a place Jacobs is desperate to be in.
It’s unknown if Jacobs is is planning for this match to be similar to every other pro wrestling match, in that the two competitors aren’t actively trying to hurt each other, but at least he didn’t challenge Walz to a Hell in a Cell match. Or an Inferno Match. Though, maybe that would have been to his benefit, as Kane has only won one of those.
