In a move that should surprise nobody who has been paying attention to how opportunistic The Young Bucks are when it comes to merchandising (See: Hot Topic), AEW wrestler and EVP Matt Jackson posted a photo to his Instagram. In said photo, Jackson was wearing a t-shirt featuring a picture of Sabrina Carpenter…wearing a t-shirt featuring a picture of The Young Bucks.
The pop star cutie patootie recently made waves in the IWC when a video surfaced of the ‘Espresso’ singer wearing a t-shirt featuring The Young Bucks striking their all-too-familiar pose.
In the video, Carpenter was singing a cover of ‘Better Off’ by Ariana Grande, and the Brothers Jackson must have realized that they’re better off capitalizing on the video as quickly as possible.
So, naturally, the Bucks spent a few to print a t-shirt, featuring Carpenter wearing the t-shirt featuring The Young Bucks. And Matt proudly shared it via his Instagram story.
Carpenter is one of the biggest stars in the world right now, and AEW is always looking for new ways to raise their own stock outside of wrestling. Could this lead to Carpenter performing at All In this year? Who’s to say? But we never bet against the Bucks — especially when it comes to breaking barriers and capitalizing on popularity.
Maybe next week, Carpenter will wear a shirt featuring The Young Bucks wearing a shirt featuring Sabrina Carpenter wearing a shirt featuring The Young Bucks. Honestly, this could go on forever, and we’re here for it.
