Last night during the weekly TNA iMPACT! broadcast, Alex Hammerstone laid down the challenge to Josh Alexander for Rebellion. Hammerstone said that he gets to decide when the match happens, and that he doesn’t really need to give Josh another fight with him after winning their last meeting together.
Later in the night, the match was made official for Rebellion.
This will be the third meeting between the two competitors. Josh Alexander won the first match at Hard To Kill that was also Hammerstone’s debut with TNA Wrestling.
TNA announced prior to their Sacrifice PLE that Hammerstone had officially signed a contract with the company, and also revealed that Hammerstone would be taking on Josh for a rematch as his first official match as a signed TNA talent.
Hammerstone won the second match after hitting Josh with a low blow while the referee was knocked out in the corner. Hammerstone followed the low blow up with a NIGHTMARE PENDULUM just in time for the referee to “come to” and count the 1.2.3. For the victory.
Who will walk away with the victory when these two clash for the rubber match at Rebellion? We’ll have to tune in to find out!
