NJPW Stars Shingo Takagi, Yuji Nagata Plus Others Congratulate Yuma Anzai On Winning AJPW Triple Crown Title

On March 30, Yuma Azani made history by becoming the youngest man to win the All Japan Pro-Wrestling Triple Crown Championship. Anzai, who is 24, is two years younger than Kento Miyahara, who was 26, when he won the Triple Crown for the first time back in 2016.

Anzai dethroned Katsuhiko Nakajima at the AJPW Dream Power Series 2024 event which took place at the Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo to win the prestigious Triple Crown belt.

New Japan Pro Wrestling stars Shingo Takagi & Yuji Nagata as well as Hideki Suzuki all took to X to congratulate the young champion.

This was Anzai’s second attempt at the Triple Crown. Coincidently, his first try at winning the title came against then champion Yuji Nagata back in June of 2023.

Anzai has long been called the future of Japanese professional wrestling and by winning the AJPW Triple Crown Title at 24, he is proving he is well on his way to becoming a Puroresu superstar.
