TNA has had an influx of talent lately, as well as some departures.
Now, some news has been released via Fightful Select about a former TNA Champion returning to the promotion.
According to sources, TNA Wrestling is planning on bringing in Mike Santana.
Santana finished up with AEW at the beginning of March.
Santana and his former partner Ortiz are former four-time TNA World Tag Team Champions as part of the Latin American eXChange (LAX), and were last in the company in 2019.
The duo’s last match under the IMPACT banner came when they were defeated by the team of Rich Swann & Willie Mack on the 9/20/2019 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, which aired on the Pursuit channel at the time.
Santana recently sat down with Chris Van Vliet for an interview. In this preview of the interview, Santana states that he does not want to do tag team wrestling anymore after spending half of his career as part of a tag team.
Santana is asked about returning to TNA, to which he responds: “everything is on the table.”
No details on Santana’s return to TNA have been revealed, so fans will have to continue tuning in to find out.
