Mustafa Ali debuted with TNA at their LIVE No Surrender PLE after hitting free agency in January.
Ali’s schedule was quickly filling up, and then we saw a vignette that he would be showing up in TNA and many fans were very happy.
While speaking on 5 Questions With The Mini Host, Ali was asked about what it meant to become the X-Division Champion.
“Another surreal moment because the X Division title meant so much to guys like me, junior heavyweights. You get to see guys like AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, the Motor City Machine Guns, Amazing Red, guys that I now get to share the ring with as well in the future. So to hold that championship, what a prestigious championship, the lineage with it. I’d say I’m going to go ahead and become the greatest X-Division champion of all time, but that’s me being humble when I say it, obviously. But it is a privilege and an honor to hold such a prestigious championship.”

Ali is now scheduled to defend his X Division Title against Jake Something at the LIVE TNA Rebellion PPV on 4/20 after Jake overcame five other opponents last week to earn his shot.
Will Ali continue on his quest to be “the greatest X Division champion of all time”, or will Jake finally claim his spot at the top of the division and refine the traditional boundaries of the X division?
We’ll have to tune in to find out.
