New NJPW NEVER Openweight Six Man Tag Team Champions To Be Crowned In Taiwan On April 14th

New Japan Pro-Wrestling has confirmed that brand new NEVER Openweight Six Man Tag Team Champions will be determined on April 14th in Taipei, Taiwan at Wrestling World 2024.

A one night tournament will be held to crown new NEVER Openweight six man champions at the Zepp New Taipei. The last trios team to hold the titles were Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi & Tomohiro Ishii. They made eight successful title defenses as the titleholders. The championship was vacated following Okada’s announced departure from NJPW. The titles have remained vacant since January 24th.

There have been no teams confirmed for the tournament as of this writing.
