WWE Reportedly Had Major Plans For Bronson Reed at Elimination Chamber

Bronson Reed was originally set for a major match at Elimination Chamber.

WWE’s latest premium live event ‘Elimination Chamber’ took place today at Optus Stadium in Perth, Australia. While Rhea Ripley, Indi Hartwell, and Grayson Waller all appeared on the show, Bronson Reed was the lone Australian to not compete or make any sort of appearance on the show.

However, that wasn’t always the case as Fightful Select notes that Reed was set for a World Heavyweight Championship match against Seth Rollins before the champion suffered a knee injury.

“Bronson Reed was slated for a huge spot on the Elimination Chamber show in his home country. Originally, Reed was scheduled to face Seth Rollins in a World Heavyweight Championship match, hinted at in promos where he said he was coming after a champion that had no idea it was coming.

Unfortunately, plans for the match were canceled when Rollins sustained a knee injury, and wasn’t able to perform on the show.

We’re told that Reed was more than willing to work the event ahead of the birth of his child, but everything ended up working out for the best.”
