Velveteen Dream (Patrick Clark) Makes Pro Wrestling Return at Dynasty Wrestling on 2/17

The former Velveteen Dream has returned to professional wrestling.

During Dynasty Wrestling’s latest event in New York on Feb. 17, former NXT North American Champion, Patrick Clark (FKA Velveteen Dream) made his return to pro wrestling.

Clark was released from WWE in 2021 following allegations of inappropriate contact with a minor via social media. Clark has publicly denied the allegations and was subsequently accused of grooming a minor from professional wrestler Joshua Fuller. The former NXT star was arrested in Orlando, Florida in August 2022 after being charged with possession of drug paraphernalia as well as a separate incident where he allegedly punched and bit a gym employee.

Clark hasn’t appeared in any pro wrestling company in any capacity since the allegations and release from WWE until this weekend.

BodySlam will provide any updates on the status of Velveteen Dream’s return to professional wrestling as they become available.
