–Josh Alexander vs Simon Gotch
Last week on the 2/8 TNA iMPACT episode, Josh Alexander was brutally assaulted from a member of the crowd who turned out to be former WWE star, Simon Gotch.
During tonight’s TNA broadcast, we found out tonight when Gotch was a guest on the Alan Angels Sound Check show what the reason for the attack was – Gotch felt like Josh got his TNA contract off the back of himself after Josh defeated Gotch five years ago and then was offered a contract immediately following their match.
The match was made official earlier tonight.
TNA Tag Team Titles
ABC vs GYV
These two teams have been tangled up in a Best of 3 series after attacking each other numerous times backstage. Going into tonight’s match, the Grizzled Young Veterans were up 1-0 in the series.
ABC evened the score with a victory over the GYV. Both times are tied at 1-1, and so the best way to finish it is at the LIVE No Surrender event on 2/23.
The match was made official.
