The Rock Calls Out ‘Cry Baby’ Cody Rhodes Fans

The Rock didn’t mince words when speaking about Cody Rhodes’ fans.

In case you missed it — during the Feb. 2 episode of WWE SmackDown, WWE Champion, Roman Reigns made his way down to the ring to confront Cody Rhodes. The winner of the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble Match interrupted proceedings and asked the rest of ‘The Bloodline’ to leave the ring, so he could speak to Reigns man-to-man.

Rhodes said he still wants the WWE Championship and wants a piece of Reigns…but not at WrestleMania 40…and here comes The Rock. The future WWE Hall of Famer greeted Rhodes, who then left the ring before Rock and Reigns came face-to-face as the show went off the air with a RAUCOUS crowd in attendance showered both men with dueling, deafening chants.

The Rock Calls Cody Rhodes’ Fans ‘Cry Babies’

When appearing on the Pat McAfee Show, Rock delved in to the differences between Cody Rhodes fans:

“I love Cody, I love his passionate fans but then there’s the other passionate fans for Cody…what do we call them? Oh, the Cody cry babies, yeah! These are grown ass men ‘oh Cody can’t finish his story wah wah wah he has to finish his story.’

Their kids will be ‘hey, dad, want to go outside and play catch? No, Cody isn’t finishing his story and I’m upset wah wah wah.’

Their wife comes in ‘hey, honey, do you want to go have sex? Not now Cody has to finish his story wah wah wah’.

At the end of the day, you have the Cody crybabies and the Cody fans, and then you have Cody himself and there’s a clear distinction between them.”
