During tonight’s TNAiMPACT on AXSTV broadcast, some new matches were announced.
-Joe Hendry vs Rich Swann (w/AJ Francis)
AJ Francis walks up to Rich Swann backstage. Francis says after what Joe Hendry did to DJ Whoo Kid that he’s going to be in Swann’s corner next week for his match against Hendry.
Best of 3 Series – TNA Tag Team Titles
-ABC (c) vs Grizzled Young Veterans
After beating down ABC tonight following Chris Bey’s victory over Kevin Knight, the Grizzled Young Veterans were backstage talking about how they came to TNA to capture the Tag Team Titles, and they don’t wait in line. They pointed out that they never got pinned in the match. Director of Authority Santino Marella interrupted them and says that’s not how this works – they don’t walk in and get a title shot in their first match.
ABC run up on them but are held back by security. Marella steps into the middle of both teams and says there will be a best of 3 series for the Tag Team Titles starting next week. The first team to win two matches are the champions.
–Nic Nemeth takes on Trey Miguel after Nemeth defeated Zachary Wentz, Trey tried to attack Nemeth but it didn’t work. Nemeth looks to get his hands on Trey next week as he battles the other member of the Rascalz.
Also, a member of The System (Moose, Eddie Edwards, and Brian Myers) takes on Kevin Knight. The member wasn’t revealed, but the video package below heavily implies Brian Myers.
