Yesterday, TNA President Scott D’Amore appeared on Busted Open Radio with Dave LaGreca to hype “one of the biggest signings in TNA.”
Dave Meltzer on his Wrestling Observer Radio show sort of confirmed this, saying:
“IMPACT does have, from what I gather, earmarked some money to where they can spend some money on a big free agent.
Whether they would or could outbid AEW, its doubtful they could but you don’t know how much Tony (Khan) would be willing to spend on one of those names (Dolph Ziggler, Matt Riddle, Mustafa Ali)”

This lines up with reports that IMPACT/TNA made a “massive offer” to Will Ospreay before he signed with AEW, and a “major money offer” to CM Punk prior to his WWE return.
