Earlier this morning, Jade was a guest on Fightful’s “In The Weeds” Show with Jeremy Lambert & Joel Pearl, where the news was broken that she would be the new ring announcer following the recent departure of David Penzer.
TNA took to their social media Twitter account to make the move official.
TNA issued a press release hyping the move:
Jade Chung Signs With TNA Wrestling
As revealed by Joel Pearl and Jeremy Lambert of In The Weeds on Fightful Overbooked, Jennifer “Jade” Chung has signed a contract with TNA Wrestling to be the new full-time ring announcer. Hear her introduce the larger-than-life athletes of TNA when the new era begins at Hard To Kill on January 13th, 2024.
Jade comments:
Jade had been ring announcing for a little while off camera for some “dark” live-crowd-only matches, however, she will now assume the role of full-time ring announcer.
Jade is the wife of former 2x World Champion, former X Division, and former Tag Team Champion, Josh Alexander.
Myself and the Bodyslam staff would like to extend our utmost congratulations to Jade.
