The finals of the NJPW World Tag League 2023 took place on December 10th at the Grand Messe Kumamoto.
There were over 2,600 fans in attendance to witness the World Tag League 2023 final match of the tournament between the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI and the NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Champions El Phantasmo & Hikuleo,
When all was said and done, it was Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI emerging victorious and crowned the winners of the World Tag League 2023 for the third successive year. This is the first time in NJPW history that a team has won the World Tag League 2023 three times in a row.

after a Kido clutch by Taguchi against Aso. - Atlantis Jr., Soberano Jr. & Master Wato defeatedMikey Nicholls, Shane Haste & Kosei Fujita (8:34) after a Tsutenkaku German Suplex Hold by Wato against Fujita.
- Yuji Nagata, Minoru Suzuki, Lance Archer & Alex Zayne defeated Bad Luck Fale, Jack Bonza, Alex Coughlin & Gabe Kidd (8:49) as Zayne Bonza pinned after the blackout sauce.
- Jeff Cobb, Great-O-Khan, HENARE & Callum Newman defeated Tomohiro Ishii, Toru Yano, Yuto Nakashima & Oskar Leube (6:55) after Cobb’s Tour of the Island vs. Leube.
- Ren Narita & SHO defeated Shota Umino & Tiger Mask (0:37) as SHO Tiger pinned.
- “King of Darkness” EVIL, Yujiro Takahashi & Yoshinobu Kanemaru defeated Kaito Kiyomiya, Ryohei Oiwa & Tomoaki Honma (11:01) after EVIL defeated Honma.
- Kazuchika Okada & Hiroshi Tanahashi defeated Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona (11:54) after Okada’s Rainmaker against Liona.
- Tetsuya Naito, Shingo Takagi, Yota Tsuji, Zandokan Jr. & BUSHI defeated SANADA, Taichi, Yuya Uemura, DOUKI & TAKA Michinoku (16:04) after BUSHI’s MX against TAKA.
- World Tag League Finals: Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI defeated Hikuleo & El Phantasmo (40:30) as Goto Phantasmo pinned after the Naraku.
