On December 9th, STARDOM held its YEAR END TOUR 2023 – STARDOM IN OSAKA 2023 FINAL at the Osaka Edion Arena #2.
During the event, Megan Bayne confronted the current NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Giulia and challenged her to a match for the title. Giulia accepted Bayne’s challenge and the championship match will take place on December 29th at STARDOM’s Dream Queendom event at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo.
Giulia and Megan Bayne faced each other in a non title match back on November 26th that went to a fifteen minute time limit draw.
This will be the seventh defense of the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship by Giulia since defeating Willow Nightingale for the title back on July 5th 2023.
