Satoshi Kojima Was Showered With Bread By Fans Following His Victory Over Tom Lawler At MLW One Shot
Bread Club was out in force Thursday night at MLW’s One Shot PPV.
Satoshi Kojima made his return to Major League Wrestling on Thursday night, December 7th following a 21 year hiatus. Kojima faced Tom Lawler at MLW’s One Shot, and would go on to defeat him in a rematch from their first meeting two and a half years ago.
Following the match, the fans at the Melrose Ballroom in Queens, NY would show their appreciation to the Japanese Legend with bread shower.
Following the match and subsequent Bread Shower, Kojima took to twitter/X and commented on his experience at MLW One Shot from the Melrose Ballroom in Queens, NY. Kojima wondered if the fans in New York were eating bread while watching his match, and that after he won his match, he threw bread and rejoiced. He added that he felt like a Bread God.
Kojima would also thanked MLW and their fans for welcoming him back to the company which he first appeared for 21 years ago.
“Were the fans in New York watching the fight while eating bread?
After I won, he threw bread and rejoiced.
I felt like a bread god.”
“MLW New York tournament has ended.
The organization that I returned to after 21 years welcomed me very much.
Not only the group but also the fans were waiting for me.
Pro wrestling is universal.
I am still alive in this world today. thank you!!”
