NJPW Reveals Some Talent Booked For Battle In The Valley

New Japan Pro Wrestling has their
first event of the New Year coming up on January 13th, dubbed Battle In The Valley. The show comes from San Jose, California.

Yesterday, the company took to their social media Twitter account to reveal some of the talent who will be competing at this event.

The talent announced includes: IWGP United Kingdom Champion – Will Ospreay, NJPW Strong TV Champion – Zack Sabre Jr, Hikuleo, NJPW Strong Women’s Champion – Giulia, NJPW Strong Never Openweight Champion & ROH World Champion – Eddie Kingston, Shingo Takagi, and El Phantasmo (ELP).

Battle in the Valley 2023 is where we saw Mercedes Mone (formerly Sasha Banks in WWE) defeat Kairi to become the NJPW Strong Womens Champion.

This announcement unfortunately puts an end to TNA fans hoping Zack Sabre Jr or Will Ospreay would show up at their Hard To Kill PPV, which is being held in Las Vegas the same night.

No matches have been announced for the event yet.
