Daga Declares That He Will Be The Greatest GHC Jr Heavyweight Champion Of All Time

Back on November 4th, Daga defeated HAYATA at Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Demolition Stage 2023 in Niigata and became the new GHC Jr Heavyweight Champion.

Only 13 days into his reign and Daga has made the bold declaration that he will be the greatest GHC Jr Heavyweight Champion that Pro Wrestling NOAH has ever seen.

A new interview with Daga is now available on the Pro Wrestling NOAH official website. Daga was asked about his upcoming defense of the GHC Jr Heavyweight Title on November 24th against Shuji Kondo and what his thoughts are on his challenger.

Kondo has been chosen as the next opponent. November 24. Find out who the true king of this jungle is. Is it a lion or is it you? That’s not all, listen carefully. I’m going to be the greatest junior heavyweight champion of all time. I’ve known you (Shuji Kondo) for a long time. I know what kind of player he is. I know what he’s doing in the ring. But I’ll just say this. If you think you can stand in front of me and take my belt… No, no, no, no, no, no way. We’re going to fight each other until one of us gets the belt. When I play against a player like you, it’s going to be a good match. But that’s not what I’m looking for. I’m here to win. I’m stronger, faster, and the only “super junior”. If you’re going to fight me as a junior champion, come with all your might. Give it your all. This is a ‘battle’ between you and me.”

Daga

Kondo is a former GHC Jr Heavyweight Champion, holding the belt back from September 2012 to January 2013.

If Daga wants to be the “greatest GHC Jr Heavyweight Champion of all time” he will have to start with a victory over former champion Shuji Kondo on November 24th at Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Star Navigation 2023.
